ROOSEVELT AT THE YPSILANTI TAP ROOM... Posted: 11 Nov 2011 05:38 PM PST Roosevelt and The Modfather! Met up with Roosevelt at the Tap Room last night to shoot more video of this fantastic blues drummer/vocalist.... Roosevelt... Roosevelt is originally from Arkansas and has been her in Michigan for over 30 years. He has been drumming and singing voer 30 years... I asked him who some of his favorite drummers are... his first choice is Elvin Jones the same as Dennis "Machinegun" Thompson legendary drummer of the MC5. It is so extremely rare to see a blues vocalist kick the tar out of the drums at the same time!!! YIKES... I loved it.... so folks stay tuned as we have more fun in store for you coming soon....
